Who we are

Hi, I’m Kristen. I discovered ceramics seven years ago while searching for a creative hobby—and quickly found something that I never knew I was missing, something I hadn’t enjoyed since childhood- playing in the mud. I’ve always loved working with my hands, whether that meant baking, sewing, or paper crafts, but I never imagined how deeply I’d fall in love with clay.

I was first introduced to ceramics in college, taking a class simply to fill a gap between academic courses. At the time, I enjoyed it but didn’t continue. Years later, when I discovered a ceramics lab in my hometown, it clicked in a way I hadn’t expected. What started as a hobby became a passion, and soon my shelves were filled with pieces to share with friends and family.

Today, my work is increasingly inspired by my love of scuba diving and the underwater world. The textures, movement, and quiet beauty I observe beneath the surface influence both the forms and finishes of my ceramics. I focus on creating pieces that are not only visually interesting, but also practical, usable, and stylish—objects meant to be held, used, and enjoyed every day.

Each piece is uniquely, emerging from a mix of thoughtful planning and intention to happy accidents, with hours spent shaping, refining, and enjoying the process from start to finish.
